Features & Benefits
SD41-P has small fluid resistance and can be used in medium containing hard suspended solids, corrosive and viscous slurry. Since the medium is only in contact with the body and diaphragm, there is no packing gland, and no leakage and corrosion from the stem part.
The ductile iron handwheel is more durable. The right size makes the handwheel rotate more labor-saving.
The stem bushing acts as a support for the handwheel and drives the stem to rotate through the internal thread to lift the disc. Bronze and cast iron can be selected by requirements.
Different materials can be selected according to the working conditions. Hardness and corrosion resistance are the primary considerations.
It separates the inner cavity of the lower body and the upper bonnet, so that the stem, bonnet and other parts above the diaphragm can be protected from corrosion of the medium. Fluoroplastic and rubber can be selected according to the medium.
Its simple structure, good sealing, corrosion resistance, and small fluid resistance make it more widely used in low-pressure, highly corrosive medium, and even those containing suspended matter. The body can be cast or welded, and the face-to-face dimension can be customized by requirements.
