High performance metal seated butterfly valves SB72 were used for Hot Water Pipelines in Yekaterinburg, Russia

Project Requirements:

The customer required high performance butterfly valves like Valmet Neles series L12 for replacement, which were used for hot water and steam pipelines of heat supply. The structure and materials of body, disc and sealing should be the same. Also, the customer require that the valves must reach Grade A seal, and unidirectinal no leakage.

 Seallon`s Solutions:

● For body & disc material, Seallon chose CF8M, which are consistent with Neles`. For structure, we chose double off-set to ensure better pressure bearing performance and superior tightness in a high temperature enviroment.

●For seat material, Seallon chose metal to metal with STL alloy so that it could keep good and stable sealing performance, no matter it would be a control or a shut-off application, even if the medium would be liquids or steam.

● SB72 high performance butterfly valves can be mounted between all common pipe flanges, and their double-shaft construction and seat located in the body groove give high flow capacity and minimum flow resistance.
