Flanged Two-piece Ball Valves were applied in the Lipetsk Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant, Russia
Project Requirements:
The customer requires a batch of flange ball valves for use in a Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant, where high durability and reliability are essential. The valves should be made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and offer a high cost-performance ratio. They must withstand medium to high temperatures, ranging from a normal temperature of 100°C to a peak of 220°C. Additionally, the valves should be capable of handling high-pressure systems with potential pressure fluctuations during operation. The nitrogen fertilizer production line also requires regular maintenance and replacement, so the valves should have a simple structure for easy installation and upkeep.
Seallon`s Solutions:
● To meet the customer’s need for high performance at a competitive price, we have selected a two-piece flange stainless steel ball valve;
● The valves are constructed from stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance and durability in demanding environments;
● We have chosen a high-temperature resistant PPL (Polytetrafluoroethylene) sealing surface, which ensures the valve can withstand the medium to high-temperature operating conditions, ranging from 100°C to 220°C;
●The selected valve has a PN40 pressure rating, making it suitable for high-pressure systems and capable of handling the pressure fluctuations;
●The two-piece flanged ball valve features a simple design, low maintenance costs, and is easy to install and maintain, making it ideal for the customer's regular maintenance needs.
