Full lined PTFE rubber joints SR41-P were purchased by Chemical Plant in Gomel, Belarus
In the chemical plant, the production process involves the transportation of highly corrosive chemicals, such as acids, solvents, and alkaline substances, through a complex pipeline network. These chemicals can cause severe wear and corrosion on traditional materials, especially under high-temperature conditions ranging from 60°C to 120°C. The plant required a solution that could handle both the chemical aggression and thermal stress while ensuring a high level of flexibility to accommodate pipeline expansion and contraction. Additionally, the system needed to be leak-proof and durable to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, as well as meet stringent safety standards for handling hazardous materials.
Seallon provided the plant with "Full Lined PTFE Rubber Joints" specifically designed for such challenging environments. These joints feature a PTFE lining that offers exceptional chemical resistance, protecting the rubber from the corrosive effects of the media being transported. The joints also offer high-temperature resistance and excellent flexibility, accommodating the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline system. With the full PTFE lining, Seallon’s solution ensured that the plant met its operational demands for safety, performance, and durability. The customer reported reduced maintenance, longer service life, and improved system reliability after the implementation of Seallon’s full lined PTFE rubber joints.
