SK41-M series flanged ball valves were supplied for Natural Gas pipeline in Aktau, Kazakhstan

Project Requirements:
The working medium was natural gas, with an operating temperature range of -15~60°C. The actual working pressure was from 4 up to 9.81Mpa. Additionally, the customer required special face-to-face lengths. The suppliers should recommend the most suitable ball valve type and specification. Also, ball valves would be installed on the ground in the open air, so reinforced anti-corrosion treatment on the body must be required. The valve should be equiped with gear box not less than IP67 under electric actuator.

Seallon`s Solutions:

● Given the customer’s special requirements on face-to-face lengths, we selected 3-pieces body structure, which was also suitable for Natural Gas. 
● For handling high pressure, we chose A105 as the body material. This material could offer high strength and toughness; 
● The fixed and solid ball structure was selected to ensure excellent pressure-bearing capacity and durability; 
● The full-bore metal seated ball valves helped minimize pipeline fluid resistance, increase pipeline flow capacity, and enhance pipeline safety;
● The valve surface was treated with corrosion protection coating with thickness of 100-120μm for the open air condition, and worm gear reached grade IP67.
