Wafer concentric butterfly valves SB71 (dismountable body) were used for water supply pipeline of Great Water in Minsk, Belarus
Project Requirements:
The customer previously purchased Keystone's Figure 14 series butterfly valves from Emerson in Germany. However, due to the frequency of replacement and consideration of pipeline maintenance costs, the customer need to find a similar product as a replacement. The butterfly valve must meet the same connection size standards as the pipeline, the actuator, the same materials of valve components, the basic structure of the valve. As the same service time, the customer prefered the higher cost-effectiveness with a 24 month warranty.
Seallon`s Solutions:
● We analyzed the structural characteristics of the Keystone Figure 14 series products. As their valve body was a two-piece dismountable structure, we need to customize the valve body by making new molds, which could facilitate the replacement of seat and meet the customer's requirement;
● For the other requirements, our series SB71 butterfly valves all met the same connection size EN1092, ISO5211, materials of components;
● At the same time, our product had a lifespan far exceeding 2 years. In addition to the relatively lower price of formal products, the price of replaceable parts was also lower, which allowed customers to get more discs and seats in bulk for long-term replacement;
● We also offered nameplates and customized RAL 2001 color epoxy coating, shorter delivery time made customer procurement plans more flexible, achieving phased cost savings goals.
