Flanged fixed ball valves SK41-M were used for Boiler Systems of the Power Plant in Putram, Sri Lanka

Project Requirements:
The project required the ball valves which would be installed in the boiler system, operating under high temperature and pressure. Ball valve materials must withstand the corrosive effects of chemicals in boiler, thus requiring zero leakage grade, meanwhile the fluid resistance of ball valves should be small enough.

Seallon`s Solutions:
● Seallon provided "metal to metal seat" option, which allowed the ball valves withstand the high temperature and pressure working conditions; 
● To achieve "Zero Leakage" grade, we chose the specially made Viton as the "Sealing Pair" behind the seats, which could bear up to 280℃; 
● Full bore design was selected to reduce fluid resistance.
