Flange concentric butterfly valves (SB41) were used for seawater cooling system in Tanajib, Saudi Arabia

Project Requirements:

The customer required flange butterfly valves that would be applicable for seawater cooling system in offshore platform. The suppliers should recommend suitable body, disc material & sealing material. Also, the customer require that the valve can be installed on electric actuator later.

 Seallon`s Solutions:

● For body & disc material, Seallon chose Aluminum bronze C95400, which has good seawater corrosion resistance and is suitable for marine environment. For disc structure, we chose disc without pin, which can completely avoid leakage from pin holes and ensure better sealing performance.

●For seat material, Seallon chose EPDM because of its good seawater corrosion resistance & excellent elasticity.

● Considering the customer will replace gearbox with electric actuator later, we process top flange as per ISO5211 standard to satisfy their demand.
