LCB Flanged PTFE-lined butterfly valves SB41 were used for a Wastewater Pipeline in Ufa, Russia

Project Requirements:

The customer requires a flanged butterfly valve suitable for a wastewater pipeline operating at 80°C. The valve must be able to withstand high humidity and corrosive environments, and it will be installed underground at a depth of 2.5 meters. To ensure zero leakage and extended service life, the supplier is responsible for selecting appropriate materials and design based on the working conditions.

Seallon`s Solutions:

● Considering the low ambient temperature (down to -40°C), Seallon recommends using a LCB body, which offers excellent strength and toughness under extreme cold conditions. For corrosion resistance and sealing performance, a CF8 disc and PTFE seat are selected. These materials provide excellent chemical resistance to wastewater medium, ensuring zero leakage and long-term durability.

● Given the underground installation depth of 2.5 meters, Seallon offers a worm gear operation with an extended stem to facilitate easy manual operation from ground level.

● The entire valve body is coated with epoxy powder, with the thickness of over 250µm, which enhances its corrosion resistance in humid and corrosive environments. The RAL5003 color is customized according to the customer's requirement.

● The valve adopts a split valve body design, which allows internal components to be replaced individually, reducing maintenance costs.
