Project Requirements:
For the seawater desalination project, customers required the butterfly valves which need to meet their specific requirements. The valve structure should be robust to handle high pressure and corrosive environments. Typically, valve bodies would be made from materials like stainless steel or specialized alloys to resist corrosion. Seals should be recommended by suppliers, which would be durable in seawater conditions. The drive would be pneumatic actuators. The valves must meet the Zero Leakage grade.


Seallon`s Solutions:
● Based on the working medium, Seallon recommended to use Duplex stainless steel 2507 as the material of body and disc, to increase its corrosion resistance of Seawater; 
● To bear the high pressure, we customized Metal to Metal, triple eccentric sealing structure, stem made of F51, to meet the Zero Leakage grade, meanwhile extending valves` service life; 
● In this order Seallon provided the double acting pneumatic actuators AT and AW series with the butterfly valves, before shipping our engineers would accurately debug each valve and recorded them on video.
