Wafer knife gate valves SG73-B metal to metal were used for Sugar refinery in Bangkok, Thailand

Project Requirements:
The customer required a knife gate valve that would used for syrup in the Sugar Refinery. The suppliers should recommend suitable sealing material which would be suitable for the granular medium. The flange serration of the knife gate valve was special. The handwheel might be removed on demand to install pneumatic actuator, if possible. 

Seallon`s Solutions:
● The flange serration of knife gate valve was customized based on customer’s requirements, which will help to cater for the preference in the market better; 
● Seallon provided ISO platform on the top of the valve yoke under the handwheel, it would be more convenient for customer to replace the pneumatic actuator instead of handwheel, meanwhile to decrease the costs; 
● Considered the medium would be granular syrup, we recommended that the body made of CF8, disc 304, seat CF8 as the metal to metal sealing, unidirectional, the valve would be more wear-resistant and the medium not easily jammed;
● Additionally, we customized Chrome Plating for the discs to increase its hardness and decrease the abrasion of the medium’s particle matters.
