Wafer triple off-set butterfly valves SB73 were used for a large chemical factory (H₂PO₄) In Northwestern Russia

Project Requirements:
The customer required a triple offset butterfly valve that would operate seamlessly in phosphoric acid environments. The suppliers should recommend suitable stainless steel to ensure excellent corrosion resistance. The sealing must be metal-to-metal, to maximize corrosion resistance. The sealing grade was "A" (zero leakage), and the flow direction was "any". The valve would be installed horizontally or vertically.

Seallon`s Solutions:
● According to the special working conditions, medium was phosphoric acid (H₂PO₄) and temperature was 0~80℃, we considered the valve body and disc made of 904L were better and had good resistance to phosphoric acid corrosion; 
● The stem material we chose F44, which had high hardness and good pressure bearing performance, meeting the requirements of any flow directional (bidirectional); 
● The sealing materials we used 904L+STL (stellite), metal to metal, so that it could increase its corrosion-resistance and wear-resistance, and extend its service life at the same time;
● Through fine processing and repeated debugging, made the valve reach the zero leakage sealing grade.
